Just a plain TIE fighter. No bells and whistles with this craft. Just two standard laser cannons and a crazy pilot to fly this thing!

Magnificant catch of details ( in- and outside)!
The whole scale looks very well and authentic.

Missed this one somehow. A cool blend of features here, somewhere between the older versions and the newest. Nicely played! |

Superb, definitely the best TIE about! Methinks LEGO should be calling you for their next UCS set! |

I wonder if you'll be tackling the Defender? That is a tricky one in Lego, especially for detail, scale, and strength. I'm sure you can handle it though. Any thought to trying the non-tie Imperial Starfighters? *cough*assault gunboat*cough*
It's in my "to do list" ;) |

Very nice! I absolutely love the techniques you used to achieve the shape of the cockpit and the pylons attached to the wings. The tiling on the wings is very accurate, as well. My only suggestion would be to add a plate between the wings and the front and back tiles so they're even with the rest of the wing tiles.
As always, I love constructive criticism. You are right about adding the plates. I realized I should have done it after I originally posted this MOC and I will use that technique on a future project. |

WHOA!!! That is impressive. I thought the outside was very good, but the inside of the cockpit really drives it home! I may try building this. We've all experimented with fattening up our official lego tie fighters at some point. A success! |
