About this creation
For some reason, I've always found Flying Saucers cute...

Anyhoo...

I'm thinking about using model this in a Scooby-doo Vig, any suggestions??

I really like how the cockpit came out :)

This is really cool. It shows how something doesn't have to be big to be a really good creation. I can only see half the pictures though...

wow! i never figured that the tracks could be tiled! your saucer looks quite nice, and yes lego releases some saucers in august, i can t wait to get my hands on those round parts! one model comes with a light brick of some kind, great stuff, such as yours! scooby doo? ok, it was mr grog, who was disguised as an alien, he scared people away to keep the precious metals in the mine for himself! lol! good work, and good luck with scoobs!

Quoting W. Mark Wow! Cool stuff. What's that element you used to attach the elements around the rim?
Quoting Yuri Fassio I really can't wrap my head around this technique. How did you do it?
It's pretty simple really, it just requires one of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43903 and a lot of 1 x 2 tiles. And FYI, it's not my technique, I first saw it here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mainman/3307427919/
