Suburban development
Here at the edge of urbia, homes and condo high-rises are being built for suburban families following the American dream.
About this creation

A short distance away, denser development takes place as a new Main Street emerges.

Looming high overhead, a large goofy looking man plants some plastic trees.

This little town was built into the center of a 6-foot tall LEGO sculpture of JP Morgan Chase's logo. (Read more and see pictures.)

This is just plain awesome. Such great details. I love the way you let the studs show. So many people use tile to make it smooth, but the studs are part of LEGOs charm. This model is one of the models that inspired me to get back into building, this and your baseball stadium. I love microscale, is such a fun scale to build in. Great job on this. I love it.

Nice micro-scale Sean! You pack in so many details it's incredible. I liked the cop car and the construction sites.

Quoting Tom Simon I hope these questions are not too pointed but: were you targeting a McMansion look for the houses, and a clear cut feel for the development? Maybe I'm just projecting.
Pretty much. And the SUVs are all parked crookedly. :)

Haha, I love seeing micro-scale cities for some reason, they always so so much even when they're simple, and this is excellent! I especially like the racer getting pulled over and the wood frame of the house.
