Purist Queen Amidala
Since Lego have never made their own, I thought I'd try my hand at making Queen Amidala in her Throne Room dress. I went for the purist option because it looks cleaner and all-round nicer! Enjoy!
About this creation
<SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERA>

The idea for this started when I picked up the Geisha Girl CM today and realised that the body and face were perfect!

<SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERA>

To present the figure I built her a small vig of the Throne room floor with a carpet and stone steps.

The black part of the headress is created using a Vampire cape with a dark red cape over the top. The helmet is Ahsoka's (?) from PoP.
I'm stil not happy with the headress though...

Thanks for veiwing.

I couldn't find anything better than those. It would look better if it were only one piece, rather than multiple.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! Here are some options that I came up with. 30409: Princess Leia Hair. x107: High Cone Hat 52345: Luminara Headdress
They're really good - thanks! But what I really need is the large round hair to go round the back.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! This is fantastic! I can't think of a good headpiece for her either. Gunray's headpiece should stay with Gunray, and it would only work in red, but it only comes in gray. Look on bricklink, you're sure to find something there.
I'll have a look this evening, there HAS to bew something out there...

If that was black, the other way round and could fit on the neck it would be perfect!

Quoting Paul Vermeesch You really nailed this! Perfect use of the head and torso, and the capes are perfect! Tight presentation, and I love everything but the helmet. Great work!
Thanks! I don't like the helmet either...

Quoting Paul Romano There is one thing that never ceases to please me, and that "thing" is a well-made, purist fig. Excellent work showing those sharpie-weilding kiddies how a custom fig is supposed to be made! Purists for da win!

Quoting E.K.O . Nice purist minifigure, very accurate, and the vignette is very nice. Oh, and you spelled "Amidala" wrong.
Whoops :P I've changed it now, thanks for pointing it out!
