This MOC was inspired by the Hornet and Falcon of Halo. It was also partially inspired by the RAH-66 Comanche.

About this creation

The dark color, recon ability, and stealth characteristics make this vehicle similar to the RAH-66 Comanche.

There are 2 engines that propel this vehicle forward. The rotors simply give it lift. Both this vehicle and the Falcon are unable to rotate their rotors 90 degrees forward like a V-22 Osprey.

The back compartment is for carrying one wounded person. This feature is useful when finding an MIA or injured soldier lying around behind enemy lines. As a real condor flies and looks down at the ground for its objectives, this VTOL flies for recon and swoops down to retrieve an ally. As you can see, there are 2 flaps and 1 door that secure the injured. The flaps close at an angle first, then the door closes on the flaps, which makes the slanted appearance.

The rotors do spin.

The only weapon on this vehicle is a 4-barrel Gatling gun with a suppressor on each barrel (this is sci-fi themed, so having suppressors on a Gatling gun doesn't have to make complete sense). This is the highest the gun can go.

And this is the lowest it can go. I estimate about 250 degrees (give or take) for the gun to turn. Even though the gun only goes up and down, it does not matter since the vehicle is a helicopter, meaning it can hover and turn its whole entire self sideways without problems.

This device under the cockpit is the dual-lens recon camera.

The thing behind the pilot is a purist sniper rifle with a functional bipod.
