Phoenix Missile cruiser
Phoenix missiles cruiser of the Andromeda space fleet
About this creation
External:


Jetisoned escape pod (also the bridge)


View from the front of the pod flying away.


Engines on the phoenix, without the escape pod.


Access to the cargo hold, the same on both side though the other side contains fresh water and treatment tanks.

View of the main rocket barage, each pod has 4 rockets each capable of firing at independant targets. These missile are designed to take out larger enemy fighters, or criple the weapons on larger ships.


Ranged guns, these are for general purpose combat.


Frontal facing guns and missiles, these are designed against large/larger ships.


Hidden missiles launch tubes, this missiles are were the nuclear warheads are stored, if the ship is authorised to carry them.

Interior:


Access to engineering.


Engineering 1, a mechanic is servicing the CO2 scrubbers.


Internal access to the cargo hold, which contains carbon recycling and packaged food.


Entrance to the rec-room/hub.


An empty bridge.


Crew quarters, capable of sleeping 4 personal at a time.

Emergency: The alarm sounds, grabs the attention of the crew in the rec-room.


Emergency: The crew gathers to the hub.


Emergency: Airlocks leading to the escape pod are all opened.


Emergency: The crew calmly board.


Emergency: Sat down, the pod prepares for ejection, it's own hyperdrive is spooled to take them to the capital ship.


Emergency: Airlocks seal, the pod ejects. (see earlier pics -external-)


Access to the bathroom


Hospitality section, leads to the quarters, bathroom and the rec-room.

Armaments-4 sets of twin intership cannons, 8 multi target general purpose missiles, 4 multi yield missiles (can be nuclear), 4 heavy ship missiles, 16 anti fighter/ flak missiles (launched upwards and explode, not necassarily finding a target) 4 long range seeking missiles and 4 medium missiles.
