About this creation
LifePod: 23 Entry I,
After an equipment failure caused catastrophic decompression, Dr. F'hpolik and his science team fled the station aboard LifePod: 23.
Though they were able to make a distress call before they escaped, the nearest assistance is over two weeks away.
LifePod: 23 - Entry II
The ejection sequence fired quickly and correctly. Unfortunately, the explosive decompression left a debris field in the path of LifePod: 23. As it cleared the field, a small piece of debris impacted the hull, damaging the gravity plating. With gravity offline, the crew floats freely inside the pod.
Dr. F'hpolik makes his way to the front of the pod while Lt. Anderson tries to raise help with the handheld wireless and Sgt. Guzman brings the doctor more equipment to make the repair.
Once gravity is back online, the crew will need to run a full diagnostic.
LifePod: 23 - ENTRY III
Emergency failsafe systems engage as the survivors put on their environmental suits and prepare for the worst. They each pause to reflect on their comrades in the other LifePods. Were they the only ones who made it? Did the wreckage debris from the station cause similar damage to the other pods? Could they somehow be saved by another pod or maybe a passing vessel?
With the loss of main power, they are now adrift without long-range communication. Backup systems should keep them with minimal light, a distress beacon and life support. Each survivor has been trained to endure and survive ordeals just like this. They all know that they must rely on their training to get them through this. ...and each other.
The last of the cooling fans stops spinning as they suit up, leaving them in relative silence. They all know that they can pull through this. As they each make peace with the fact that they probably won't.
