During my march on the sweat-bathed road to a Type 48 Revenant for my Halo tabletop game I made a little side step and came up with this collection of space-ships. Please, enjoy them and leave some criticism behind. Thank you.
The main picture shows a fighter, which got some inspiration from the TIE series and the Y-Wing from Star Wars.
About this creation
This one might be a light freighter, supporting a crew of one, like those from Freelancer (the best game for space pilots so far ... simply a classic)
A mobile repair and service platform can easily be your best chance for survival deep in outer space.
Here we have a bigger kind of freight ship with clear sectional construction style. The cargo pods get linked on the lower holding devices, meanwhile brigde, crew quarters and propulsion arrays are located in the upper section. This ship can be used for extra-atmospherical purpose only.
Light capital ships like this are the back bone of any fleet. It combines a compact hull design and light armament to give a smaller target with sharp teeth. The prow consist of enforced super-alloys and allows it to ram other ships.
Research vessels are packed with high-tech material to explore the secrets of infinity.
In this particular case there are store rooms and laboratories in the lower decks.
Tasks like exploration of zero-g resources require a 360° view and sensitive scanner equipment.
The vivid exchange of goods between colonies and empires demands for appropriate transportation vehicles. This one seems to be another propulsion machinery for container-based ware exchange.
Finally, we got a heavily armed and armoured ship with several engines and a powerful forward cannon. It could be used for bombing runs on capital ships or semi-stationary defensives.
