Remember when I said I'm not going to post many bionicles? Well, that was the truth. This is only an exception that I'll be updating from time to time (more spikes).
About this creation
First the work journal and design notes:
I felt a weird need to make a Bionicle. Humpf. So I started. It was already 9 in the evening then. Through very black, dark blue, to this moderately black with purple parts, I made the head (the first thing I was happy with) at about 1 am, an hour later I made the body. The next morning I made the rest, legs were hard and I'm still not happy with the arms.
In making him I didn't care much about the limitations of bionicle, wich you will clearly see if you try to recreate him yourself. The connection palette is huge, from tubes holding the waist to the stick in horns and 2nd round tile connection, the inside of the body is extremely complex and thus, with the weak shoulder connection, not very poseable.
Next thing I'd like to say that I don't accept the bionicle fan language, so I call this my Sig-Bot and his parts complex (instead of "custom").
Side shots...
Legs, feet aren't complex, later on I might make system feet.
Arms. Not complex.
Hands, left hand is a telekinesis amplifyer.
the body. Extremely complex.
The head, black and opaque horns. Spikes are what makes an evil overlored truly evil.
Hoses are good for heads.

deus, bionicles?!? well, it looks denser than the ones i see in stores! i bought one myself last week! meltdown, he was on sale! he s where i took my nuclear parts! but, the rest of the body will serve to build a loader mech! it s a downer that the mobility is limited, i hope you get to fix it! as i find it important!
you can bet mine will be very poseable, the black from my stories is quite poseable, even with tracks attached to his body! you did a great job as look is concerned, it looks terminatoresque! i m sure you will overcome these minor glitches easily, can t wait to see it holding a fig in his hand! great work deus! |

I must say, for a builder who doesn't like Bionicles, you sure have some skillage up your sleeve. I do have to agree that the shoulders are a bit weird; they make him look uncomfortably hunched, and as you said are very weak. Overall nice job! |

i like all the designs, really epic and well done! 5 on 5. Usually i point out what i like about a bionicle moc, and what needs work, but um.... when i like everything, i can't process... but at least my ability to write alot and annoy people is still active ZD
