Team Savage Gerbils

I wanted to go for trickiness here so the build quality is lacking a little. The main pic says it all. Man it was hard to make all three layers line up and keep them focused! The only thing photoshopped is the background, the gun is about one meter behind the arm and the shuttle is about 30 centimeters behind the arm.

The inspiration for the shuttle is a "V" original series shuttle. It's not similar at all but that was the inspiration :)
Really loved that series (the long version).

And the gun is supposed to look like a V laser pistol. As a kid I built lots of V guns in real size, this one is much smaller :)

At first I was thinking "hmm, not a bad build, got the forced perspective, but not much else." Then I looked at the gun and was trying to figure out what parts it used, since it looked so small. Then I had my lightbulb moment and realized that the gun wasn't in the guy's hand and was part of the forced perspective. The multiple layers of forced perspective just took this up and over the top. Nicely done.
