About this creation
Introduction (age 2 or 3, usually): Basic concept of Lego is learned: 'Building, not biting'.
Childhood (4-12): Lego has become a part of life. However, creations are usually always rainbow warrior. No matter; skills are building.
Teen years (13-17): Amidst a sea of non-lego activities, Lego life is thriving. With the discovery of websites such as Mocpages, Flickr, and Cracklink, talent drastically improves. Creations are more color-coded, and more intricate techniques develop. Also note that builders usually begin to sort thier collection during these years.
College/early adult life (18-?): Lego time is low to no. Person(s) may slip into a dark age for a period of time.
Rediscovery/madness(A.K.A 'Kelsosism')(?-?): Once a new life is established (new family, new home, new career, etc.) Lego building takes off stronger and better than before. Suddenly there is enough capital for a capital ship, and builders at this stage may find themselves saying: "Eye of Chaos? Why the hell not?"
My college years were thankfully supported by the coming of Star Wars and so I didn't fall off completely. Still waiting to free up the capital for the capital ships, but my kids don't NEED to go to college right? More Light-bley will be much more useful in the future than a quality secondary-education.
