"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say. "
This is truly J.R.R. Tolkien's greatest masterpiece. I've re-read it, and re-read it, and re-read it for as LONG as I can imagine. I've currently got several copies sitting on my shelf (a few of which I plan to give away to those poor souls who have yet to read it.) In simpler words, Best-book-EVAR!
