Baar'ur DN-1500 Emergency Response Unit, nicknamed the Bumble Bee because of its shape is the general all purpose ambulance.
About this creation

Not the most attractive design, but functional and that’s all that matters to those whose lives have been saved because of the Bumble Bee and its crew. The standard design seats four should the need arise with room in the back for a gurney. Two powerful turbine engines enable the craft to travel swiftly in spite of its blocky design. The bottom of the rear bay can also double as a ramp for ease of access. Storage bins are also located on either side of the craft for extra, well, storage.
4th wall: This creation was inspired by one of my friends recently getting a job as a paramedic and that ambulances don’t really show up on MOCpages with all the tanks, absurdly huge ships, and clone armies burying them. At least now there is something to pick up the pieces from all the other carnage machines. (Not that I’m against these, I have my own share of Armageddon products.) The landing gear came out unexpectedly, originally I wanted a tripod design, but I could never find a good spot for the third leg so that it would fold up. Oddly enough it does balance on just the two and the ramp can be lowered for additional support. Still they don’t look very good folded up, but I’ll just chalk that up to functionality over aesthetics. I worked at going studless this time and I think it turned out well. Only the studs on the strobe lights show and that doesn’t bother me. There also are actually four seats; just in the pictures you can only see two of them. Anyways it’s back to college for another term, so it will be another wait for more MOCs from me.

Wow nice it has been a long time since I have been on well I have been extremely busy with school. So now that it is over I have time hopefully to post some new/old mocs that I never got around to posting. I am creating a huge tower right now all black. It is supposed to be the tower of isengard. So far it is 1.5 feet tall and is a pain to build. I have a couple guns I built a long time that I never got around to posting but hopefully I will. I am sorry about any groups that I have left people hanging but I should become more active now. See soon and happy building. |

You may not think this design is attractive but stuff like this is my favorite! I love all the extra bulk! The turbine work/placement is cool, and I know your trials with the landing gear, heh heh. Sorry, I missed it when it came out, been in a bit of a Lego funk lately...(Wonder if it has anything to do with my work on my Halo career???) Later dude.
Thanks for stopping by. I think the bulk does suit it. I know what you mean about the Lego funk This thing sat around for about a week unfinished with about four parts missing while I was working on my own future career. Good luck with your Halo career. |
