In the year of our lord 1298 Sir Ronald retired from his years serving the crown and opened a small tavern nine miles west of Edinburgh. At first business was slow, and not many a passerby recognized the structure for what it was. To garner attention Sir Ronald had his taverns sloping roof painted a bright red, and a large pair of golden archs forming an 'M' was placed atop it to represent that the establishment was a place for 'Meals'.

But what really seperated this tavern from others was the 'ride through window', people in a hurry no longer had to dismount to grab their food. His tavern became quite successful and during his life he opened several throughout much of civilized Scotland and England.

Fourth Wall: So I decided to castlelize a McDonalds as it is a pretty common sight here in the US of A. Some of these restaurants have yellow accents, some white. I think the white looks alot nicer so I went with that variation. I included a photo of a Mickey D's in case your not familiar with them. Sorry again about the poor photo quality, I swear it's a temporary thing! Go Monkeys!

Man, sorry I missed this! Then again, the last week and a half of the contest was pretty chaotic. Well deserving of the perfect score it received; hilarious, imaginative and well executed. Love the 'ride-through-window', for the knight that is on the go!~H

The only thing that would make it any better would be ads in the windows (unless there were and I missed them). Still, that doesn't change the fact that this is an all-around great MOC.
