Cybercity bank update 2011 presentation by mr johnson, manager.
About this creation
Hi! i m mr johnson, manager of Cybercity bank,
right arm of mr richmond,
OWNER of the bank!

i will give you a tour of the bank,
to show you how good this institution really is!

first thing on our mind; SECURITY!
we have a camera system,
directly linked to the police station s computer,
who can lock doors in the bank, ect... [classified]
this one covers the front and public parking streets,

while, this one, covers the back, and hotel s alley!

it s dedicated to the transport bay acces,

...and the atm!

the roof, well, we re still waiting for the sattelite tower,
and solar panels,
an advanced air conditionner should arrive soon,
right now,we have a grass filtering system which recuperates,
the rain water, and purifies air,
so it aint bad, just unfinished!

this overview allows you to see the building s divisions;
there is the main vault,
the small vault,
the service counter,
the waiting room, in wich i am,
and the office.

let s visit MR AUSTIN head of security,
and personnal bodyguard of MR RICHMOND!
he works in the small vault today,
usually, i do both,
the office, and this,
MR RICHMOND lives in GLOBOLOPOLIS!
he s only here on exceptional events,
he has a meeting with MR HARRIS!

now you see why it s called; the SMALL vault!
we mainly count the credits here!

this is the SERVICE COUNTER this is where you deposit,
or withdraw your credits!
and, most of the time...WAIT!

this is the atm deposit-withdrawal acces,
next to the small vault.

now, the MAIN VAULT!
sealed by a massive steel door,
you HAVE to have the code,
to go trough THIS!

explosives will only get you this far...
as this second gate acts as supplementary security measure.

once inside...

you can see a wall of famous valuables!
owners of all around ALTA-5 have something here!

of course,
there are skids of money waiting to be invested!
commercial enterprise does nt come cheap,
ask MR ZAK!

you can see safety boxes here for personnal objects,
such as jewelry

gold chests are used for diamonds,
or gold bullions!

the transfer acces door,
leads straight to the hotel s side.

the armored truck stops here,
to do the transfers!

this is siding the hotel,
crime alley,

this is the back,
facing the train station,

and this side,
faces the public parking!

MR RICHMOND presently uses the office,
so, i won t disturb him,

but, usually, it s MY office,
you can see some files, keys, computer,

pretty comfortable seats too!

i hope it goes well with the tennis star!

so, if you re wise...
i ll see you MONDAY!

cybercity bank 2011
CREATOR S LOG;
i had to redo the bank for 2 main reasons;
#1; i had not reserved the 6 wide space for a sidewalk behind the bank.
#2; the roof design, needed parts i did nt have,
i had to cut corners, and i don t like that!
i originally conceived the bank to be 2 levels, and join the toy shop s level,
but, it required too much elements to make it.

i think you already have it! so yes, but, usually, it s a finish touch, i did one, just for story sake! for a train layout, it s not as important, all depends on your goal with it, i ll soon post my next journal, it s best you comment there, [my old ones] as it will help others as well! this is the page of a creation! i don t mind helping you at all, so continue there, if you wish!

Hi Cyberfrank - I am still around, just not much time for building at the moment. Still check out MOCpages every couple of days and post the occasional comment. The kids have holidays coming up for easter so the plan is to post up our latest MOC (been on the shelf for about a month now) and tackle a new project during the break. All the best! |

lol! i got 8 new col figs!
so i loved using the to color my bank, especially the punk!
as for brian and i,
we both have a high standard of doing better!
he s very good, and constantly improving!
for designing, i m still trying things,
as i like a classic look,
but, i aim for futuristic as well,
it s a hard, but, pretty cool balance!
most of the time,
i have a general idea of things, shapes,
i want to do,
but, i still get surprises,
when the building part starts,
sometimes, it takes more than i figured,
that s when i tone down occasionally!
all my material is sorted, [see my cyberlab]
so i take my needed elements at the table,
to work!
it usually takes a few blue boxes, and a few drawers, i pick my colors from the start.
as for the props i use, [desk, chests, statues.] i always prepare them in a special props case!
for the truck, i had no other choice,
as the new bank is still not found anywhere here!
and peter claus, he asks for a loan,
he owns the toy shop,
did you know?
thanks nick!
that s a comment!

SHOW OFF!!! I mean you had to show off you have some of the new Collectables (series 4 mini-figures) and nothing wrong with showing off one's talents!!!
I would love to say I am amazed but the truth is I am not because you STAY true to form! You and Brian Lyle are my super favorites here because you take your eye for detail and trace it into LEGO Bricks!
I have a question for you. Do you first sketch out your design? Or do you manipulate the bricks in your mind's eye? Or a bit of both? Do you use bricks in colors you don't want until you get the brick you want (need) like I did with my Don Quixote? By the way I adore the way you stacked the chests great insight into the value of an item. I like the fact you also designed your own Money Transfer Truck. Hey Santa uses a Bank?
EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHY!!! |
