Day One: We were on our way to the base on R-0012. Something hit us, I don't know what. We crashed on this planet.....I can't even tell if it's planet, is it a moon, a meteorite? ...Looks like I'm the last of us, the only survivor....Freddy is dead, Charlie just died....The ship? Total loss, no chance to escape. Half of the inventory is burned, maybe it will last for ten days. I have no idea if I can survive outside. There is an atmosphere, but what kind of substances are there? The measuring device is broken, just like the radio devide. I can get through to anyone....
Day two: There's no other way. I have to get into my spacesuit and explore the environment. I've heard of populated planets in the outer sector......if this is the outer sector.
Good news. I've left the crashed ship and I'm still alive. Everything I can see is desert. Oh and I'm kind of flying, low gravity. The planet has to be smaller. I'm going to go a little further now....
Day three: I've explored the south area...I couldn't find anyhting. I hope there's some thing in the north....Otherwise I'm dead.
Hey! There is something! Am I hallucinating? I can't say what it is, it's about 300 meters away.
This may be my last chance.
It's definitely no illusion. Yet I don't know what it is. I assume it's a building, it doesn't look like something made by nature. To be honest, it reminds me of a fuelling station.
There seems to be a huge pipe...If this had a use, it's probably abandoned
There is a second curved pipe, filled with something green or yellowish...
There are two capsules around the building. They look like eggs of insects....Maybe they are tanks or energy cells. A cable connects one of them to the building.
I's made of a material I've never seen before....stable, but no metal, no plastics, strange color.
Wait, what was that! Something moved!
Oh my God....Help!

This works well on so many fronts, Louis K. You have a gripping story, your MOCs match the mood of the story, and it has that sinister ending that leaves you hanging...like Parrington Levens, you'd also do well in writing science fiction stories. |
