About this creation

Eclipse is a Senior Chief Petty Officer, enlisted under the UNSCs Special Operations Brigade. He wears a prototype suit developed by ONI, a newer version of the MJOLNIR armor used by the SPARTANS.

The suit is a level up from the MJOLNIR. It trades energy shields for the ability to regenerate when damaged. The absence of the shield's energy cell allows for greater stealth and speed. The suit is also EMP hardened, and the HUD allows for direct linking to whatever gun the user is wielding. It allows the gun to server as a camera, with video feeding directly into the suit's helmet. The ability to zoom on a whim renders the use of a scope or sight obsolete. The suit can pick up and send information to the user's body in the form of brainwaves, improving the user's reflexes and reaction times. Add all of this to the suit's ability to quadruple the user's speed and strength, and you have a nearly invincible killing machine.

I was originally inspired by the Nanosuit from Crysis by Crytek. A great game. As I built, I got a little off track in color and shape, but the torso looked awesome by then, so I kept building.

Quoting chopper skull i love this moc, and i love halo and crysis.... i really want crysis for ps3, but it's overpriced! i really like this moc, looks like a combo of halo and crysis, like you intended! Really cool designs! tell me, how did you get the visor to be red? 5 on 5

That seems to be a very popular question! I used a red expo marker and colored the original trans-blue visor with it.
