About this creation
Rumors of Trouble.
As told by Felix Arnez.
I was having me a beer at Rooks, And I heard a guy blabbering about something. He claimed he'd been in a Star Ranger reform cell, something about "stolen plans". Anyway, he started talking about something he heard on his way out of the office. He mentioned the Ace of Spades. A ship originally owned by a pirate by the name of Frump. Frump spent a while harrassing cargo shuttles and esacpe pods, but never really got into the whole "profit" thing. So when a friend built him a replacement for the ship he "lost" in a poker game, he sold the second ship of the same name to a pirate named Fox. Fox then spent several moths hunting ships in the JE borderlands. After he retired, he gave thee ship to his second cousin twice removed, a "Dominic McCoy"
So now this McCoy fellow built another version of this ship. Something about the old one being to slow...
So now, the Ace of Spades III roams space. And lemme tell you boys... no freighter is safe...
What? another round of beer? Why sure.

Engine is pretty simple. I don't know if I really like it.

I need to get photoshop. Then I could make me some purty backgrounds.

Some ships need repairs after a long hard battle. Little patches of unpainted metal are common after said repairs.

the yellow and black checkerboard pattern returns.

I swear I've seen this picture before.... Rule#297 of MOC photography: Take lots of pictures.

It feels kinda like the Ace II without all the various greeblies. Good? BAd? dunoo.

   big ole' anti-ship "buster" torpedoes.

   littler anti-fighter missiles.

zOMG! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! oh sorry. I panicked when I saw all that firepower.

Black is a real PITA to photograph. Next time, it'll be white, tan and grey.

   VOOOOOOOSSSHHHHHHHH!!

   *gasp* hidden missiles?

   Yep.

   They even fold out.

Very sparse interior. I know, it could be better. Much better.

Love the radical concept. The fact that its studless just adds to the overall appeal of it.

Heya, thanks for reviewing my Moc - and I saw your comment about the little checkerboard pattern. And well, looky what we see here! Heh. Very nice, I like the technique for the blue missiles, and the larger folding out ones are lovely.
