Pretty much built this from the name, drew a lot of inspiration from the old Tie Fighter game. Man I love that game.

Role: Planet Defense / Carving your name on the moon

The UNEN Point Defense Laser Platform, is exactly what it says on the tin. The platform is operated by 30 crew members and is incredibly powerful at short to mid range(relatively speaking) Each is powered by three nuclear reactors, allowing them to create amazingly powerful beams, useful in carving up would be invaders. Often deployed in clusters to minimize down time, they are capable of literally melting enemy forces away.

TIE Fighter is probably my favorite game of all time. I agree with what others have said about the lever/antenna and bush combination, very clever and looks great!
