You know, Brian, this should become an actual LEGO model and to the person that had mentioned Peter Perfect, I think that they were inspired by INDY racers of that era when they had his car in mind. FYI, in PAL regions, and possibly in USA regions, they had a Wacky Races game for the NES but it's kind of rare from what I hear. Anyway, back to the MOC. This, and your more modern INDY racer, are the perfect examples of SNOT and decaling. They look spot on in both scale and appearance (well, as spot on as LEGO can look, anyway) to their real life counterparts. It's a shame that the IRL and F-1 series are in a bit of a disorganized mess these days, though...:(
