Not as long as you might think. This one was built off the same basic form as the purple mech with the huge cannons. I then swapped the color purple for dark green and then added the extra armor parts all over the mech. The purple mech was in turn mostly based off the red mech, which was in turn mostly based off my S-Type mk 4 design. So you see, that most of the work was done for me already. It was mostly just a matter of making a few small cosmetic changes here and there. This probably took me about 3-4 days altogether.

How long did it take you to build this???

Yeah, most of my mecha are around 1000-1500 pieces, though this one was even higher I think.

I LOVE that shield and the light...er...beam sabers!

Now, that's what I'm talking about! Definately love the beam sabre claws! The shield fits it well, and gives it a general "Going to Smash Your Face" feel. ^Blub^

I love the look of the heavy armored frame. It gives a great imtimadation factor to the mech. And the colors work really well with the design. Looking forward to seeing the weapon system for it.

Definitely digging the heavy armor mode. I could see this model packing a bunch of break away missile launchers and maybe some small caliber firearms for close enemy forces.

I was actually considering that at one point--then I decided to go with beam sabres. However, I think I have an idea for beam claws that may work. Thanks for pushing me over the fence I was sitting on about that.

Awesome, as always, man! I love the bulkiness and color scheme. Also diggin the "toes" and the shoulder thingies. I'm workin on a new mech myself, which is partly influenced by you. Should be done in a couple days.
