About this creation
So, I've decided to expand Kleinpanzer Week into Kleinpanzer Fortnight, because I haven't exploited it for all the comments it's worth run out of ideas yet.
First in the second wave: Space Vikings. Not just normal Space Vikings, either: this is one of the special Space Vikings, armour and all.
So: Space Viking High Command decreed to all the inventors in the land, "make us a fun new toy". They got it, in the form of what would be named the Fenrisulfr.

The thing about Space Vikings is that they don't have a word for subtlety, and they wouldn't recognize the concept either.
The Fenrisulfr fits perfectly into that worldview, except for the minor fact that it doesn't quite have enough weapons.

It has a jetpack, though, and vertical facing lasers for air to air dogfights, and a great big SAM strapped to its back.
But yeah, you're right, it just doesn't have enough firepower to get anything useful done. I suppose it might make a decent scout, but I dunno.

Here it is with no guns at all. This would definitely get the designer executed for gross incompetence and un-vikingness.

Here's the images the review board got. I like to think they teleconference with E-tablets. Which is why all their discussions are scribbled on photos. There's also something innately funny about Space Vikings writing on photos. Their conversation isn't exactly linear, by the way: when they ran out of space on the right, they moved over to the left.

Ah, yes, comment exploitation...
You know how that works, don't you, Mr. Spastle Week? You're just grumpy because you didn't think of Space Vikings first. |
