I hadn't meant to build this - I was rummaging around looking for pieces for the Argonath when I unearthed a blue lightsabre and thought 'hmmm...'
So I decided to branch out and try something a bit smaller-scale. I know it doesn't look much like the movie version, but I was working from the book and from how I imagined it when I read it...

Construction of the fountain - salute to the guy who made 'Port Aloft' for the idea of using the lightsabre blade. The 'pouring statue' came later.

Custom Frodo mini-fig; my usual trick, brown lecky tape and a cd marker. I might revamp my Fellowship along the same lines.

Quoting Aidan Moon I like the water and the statue. Frodo is excellent, but Galadriels face looks a little wierd.

I agree that Galadriel looks a bit of a bimbo...

Cheers guys! I've had a few comments on backdrops so I'll let you in on the secret - it's chalk. Nothing arty about it, just a massive bit of paper stolen from work and a box of soft pastels. Thanks for all the 'Likes!'
