So the other day my order of four pounds of Bionicle elements came in. I was pretty excited, because I really overlooked this series' potential when it came out, and for 23 dollars after shipping, this was a steal, relatively speaking.
The coolest part was that a lot of the parts came assembled in the kind of Lovecraftian monstrosities only children can create. I took some photos to share them.
After disassembling them and organizing all the parts carefully by number, my brother decided we should create some monsters of our own.
I think this was a pretty fun thing to do, but I can also see why I thought that Bionicle was rather complicated with a lot of big useless bricks. Still, I think I have some plans...
