Here at Hadron Industries, we have a motto. If it's suitably awesome, it can be made practical. After years of experimentation (And disastrous failures), we have designed a successful Vertical Tank that can function in a scouting role. It has lighter armor, can move at higher speeds, and has more information gathering instruments. Armed with a medium power laser and a missile box, it can take on Mechs of equal or lesser size and chase down conventional armored vehicles like a fat man hunting for stray french fries in his takeout bag. Needless to say, it's pretty awesome. As for infantry, there are not currently any weapons systems designed specifically to kill then. Point the laser at'em and shoot until they're dead or you're far enough away for them not to be a problem if it's that big of an issue.
Zzzzap!

From a slightly overhead view, you can clearly see the sloped armor that comprises the nose of the mecha. This is useful for causing missile-type munitions to glance off, and for making it look less like a box with legs.
Also, it has smoke launchers!

And from this view we get a nice look at the big gun. It's a nice sized lase that's good for punching holes in enemy armor. It's also pretty good at ruining people's day, but what else would you expect when your multi-billion dollar laser pointer can actually burn through your enemy's fancy new paint job and roast his cat?
MR. SNUFFLES!

And here we have a normal side view, without any of this silly '3/4 angle' business.
But full of my usual silliness.

The rear view houses an armored exhaust port and all the technical details not covered by armor plating.
Y'know, for kids!

And this side view shows off the armored sensor housing and the missile box. The sensors are in a constant uplink with command, relaying everything the mecha 'sees' and does. It records everything from temperature to the locations of local takeout eateries.
And the density of hot chicks in the area.

Pretty closeup of the main hull
Shiny!

Sensor housing. Note the pretty multicolored lenses. Coolio, right?
Look at- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD

This mecha is taller than average for me. I'm proud of it.
I don't often build tall.

This is the laser. It goes 'Pew Pew' on burst mode and 'Zzzzap' on the full power setting. On low power it can provide a decent laser light show and give everyone involved third degree burns!
Nothing says party like roasting flesh.

This is the backside of the leg. It's got lots of interesting greebly details. The power of greeblage compels you!
To give me a high score.

And finally, a lovely shot of the mech again. Why? Because it's purty. And intimidating.
I swear officer, he hasn't been abusing me. I fell down some stairs. A lot.

Fourth Wall Commentary:
Well, it's a grey mecha, but it's quite different from my other mechs. It has no arms, isn't humanoid, and has no glass cockpit piece. It's also sexier than the Seaside. Also, I'm counting this as my Birthday MOC. It probably should have been my Phippy powered chariot, but honestly I think this one's way cooler. So yeah, happy 17th to me!

And that's it.
Thanks for stopping by folks! I hope you've enjoyed my latest foray into the world of walking tank mechs.

No wonder you are so proficient. Your'e 17! I'm only 15 mahself. Sorry I haven't commented in a while, I've got other things that have taken the place of lego. This isn't a promise that I'm coming back though, just a comment. So, this is what I want to say. That tank looks vertical. ~Waff

Happy Birthday! Wait, 17?! Dang, you build WAY better MOCs than me and I have a good decade on you! "With age comes experience" my butt. Excellent little mecha, and you're right, the greeblage compels me... Is this minifig scale?

A successful VT, Ribbits. Great style and the weapons are spectacular, especially that lase. I also like the non-standard hull you gave it. Too many tend to look like a box on legs as you put it. ^Blub^
