This week: 7 variations on the Kleinpanzer frame. Number four is another MOCIAverse one, this time a Compact anti-mecha suit.
About this creation
Another MOCIAverse post. I'm not totally sure about the faction details, but I do know this isn't from the OCD guys with the whitewash obsession. The idea here is that it's designed specifically to hunt and kill mechae, while being adequate in other roles.

As for the name: it's not compact as in small, it's Compact as in from the Tanis Compact.
I'd presume it's also capable of operations in microgravity, although I doubt it'd be completely ideal for the task.

The assault pack augments its limited leg boosters, which by themselves can allow it a significant leap of up to forty metres at a time with a ten second recharge time. With the assault pack, jumps are only limited by the pack's internal fuel supply, which is limited to thirty-five seconds of full thrust.

The assault pack itself cannot lift the suit quickly, but when combined with the leg jets and used carefully, experienced pilots can "fly" (looking more like a spastic bumblebee than a traditional jetpack fitted exoskeleton) for some time.

It mounts two 107mm APHE anti-armour rockets, and may be discarded at any time the pilot wishes, converting the little sky traversing mecha swarming horror into a fairly conventional infantry exoskeleton, albeit still with the ability to hop for limited distances.

This particular one isn't shown with the standard issue huge anti-mecha rifle normally issued with them, for the simple reason that as it's a huge rifle, it'd get in the way of the pictures.

I must say, the pics I've been taking for this series are some of the best I've ever taken.

It's a good little suit. I like how you are knocking out a whole VOAT. Each specific model is cool. Attack! |

Definitely looks capable at its title role. I like the thrusters being at strategic points also, giving it the decided appearance of being space capable. ^Blub^ |

That's a really good design for a jet pack! I have to say, this mini-series is very well done. Looking forward to the rest! |
