Pirate Plunder at Port Disarray
For the MocAthalon 2011 category: Forced Perspective
About this creation
My next entry for the 2011 MocAthalon Category 5: Forced Perspective

Team Lethal Donuts

In the Carribeans where shipping and trade are abundant, as well as piracy, there is a small island near Port Royal that also shares it's disorder.

At Port Disarray you can find all the pleasures and chaos any man can hope for, and pretty much forgotten from the Royal Navy.

This place is notoriously known for it's lack of disiplined military and defense (with only one fort), which also makes this place ideal for pirate raids.

With the fort well under siege, the captain is sent to the other side of the hill to position their cannons for better range.

But with his disorderly soldiers, can he counter-attack in time?

There is much disorganization and low moral amongst the soldiers during the attack, and the captain tries in vain to get them into shape.

Quoting Zac (Hayden) wow! i love that forced perspective but how did you make those cannons?
A little technique I've discovered on my own. I've connected a pot and a pan together and all works out.

You really nailed the category. Your technique is spot on. Your photographs effectively simulate long distances in a relatively small area. But my favorite part is actually your tiny cannon. Those are really neat! Attack!

Wow, that's some good forced perspective. Would have liked to see the it the other way around though, or an over-all build type of thing. >Eric
