A cyborg babe goes on a rampage inside the Tristarian Arms hanger.

About this creation

I chipped away at this project over two years as chrome is a rare and expensive palette to work with. The hanger and vehicles were in storage for about four years so it was nice to use them again.

This is my first mecha attempt. Inspired by the Shemarrian warriors from the Rifts RPG by Palladium Books, I thought the idea of a cyborg warrior race was kind of a cool idea for a build. Little did I know how frustrating a project this would become. There were 22 design attempts for the legs until I settled with this one. During construction I discovered what I call 'Brad's Law of Lego Legs:' S = A a (@!$%!!!) where S is stability, A is articulation, stability is the inverse of articulation multiplied by the amount of swearing you do while building the MOC.

The warrior's helmet is from Brickforge.com, and I waited forever for it to come back in stock. The faceplate on the mount is held in place by a Lego rubber band, which also holds the two front teeth in place by friction.

I have issues? Does Mom know?!! It took so long to build because I'd order chrome/silver wherever I found it available from Bricklink.com sellers. They were tacked onto orders for my Cerberus hovertank build (99% tan). I see you build mechs. My next mech will be of the 'chicken leg' variety. Any parts tips would be appreciated.
