Really cool. I tend to think any MOC made of Technic is cool since I don't have any sets other than the Star Wars figures. Definitly classic. |

Oooo, that brings on some unnerving shudders down my spine... very creative use of parts. 4 points. |

Nice job so far DT :) The tripod looks pretty cool.
Now for the scenery, I'll pm you on BZP to explain some way to artifically make grass without having it seem too un-organic. It's not the best way, but it'll help make this more awesome :) |

Quoting Felix the Cat
For the small amount of scenery, you've done exceptionally well. It'll be interesting to see what the judges think.
I love the head, for starters. Pretty unique build, what with the zamor wedged in there.
The body is very blocky. I know it's a robot, but IMO there are a lot of gaps, and I think it could have been smoother. The little arm out the front looks great :)
But my real complaint here lies within the leg structure. Yes, they're spindly, but the joint-system in the middle is an unwanted bulk.
All that aside, this is a really good MOC. The tentacles look awesome! You're doing our team proud :)
Glad you like it overall, it's probably pretty obvious that I rushed and didn't do as much revising/editing as usual. Do you have any suggestions for improving the leg joints? This was actually the least bulky method I could think of short of not even including joints and just using the angled connectors. As for the body, I don't want to make too many revisions, since I'd rather spend time working on other categories instead of gaining only maybe a couple of points total for a smoother body. However, there's a quick alteration that I can do that won't change the appearance except for the side view, where it helps fill in the appearance a bit (it's basically shoving a couple extra Technic pieces into the body). I'll do that, then I'll only have to update the shot of the side of the body. |

This is the second or third nice thing I've seen over the past couple of days with this color scheme. The head is great. |

I haven't added this to the contest page yet, I figured I'd first ask you guys for feedback, especially any possible way to improve the scenery without an excessive use of System pieces.
I'm pretty sure that this is allowed in the rules... :P |
