About this creation
I saw a MOC a while back that I liked and built a replica on LDD. However, I noticed it was quite small, especially for mini-figs, so I decided to take the basic design and enhance it to make it more mini-fig suitable and add some more details. I also wanted to make it for Mandatory Arbitration, but could not find a place for the yellow stripe. There is yellow in the interior, but I don't feel that is sufficient for MA.
The Ox can carry about 10-12 soldiers including the operators. Here is is shown with a crew of 7: one driver, one top gunner, one commander (at the communications station) and 4 troops.
It features a top mounted .50 cal machine gun and 2 side-mounted mortars that can fire various shells: thermal, smoke and frag. The Ox can also be shut up tight in the midst of battle or hazardous environments. The front windshield has an armored hatch, as does the gunner's spot on top. On the roof is a periscope, several other optics, sensors and radar and a communications array. The back has 2 doors that fold down. I opted for split doors, so near the action only one door would open to provide greater protection for the crew inside.
Inside there are several gun racks, a few seats and drop down handles for standing troops.

Excellent APC, I was looking around at your other mocs and they were good too. Have you ever wanted to join a war game, if you do, then I suggest you join divide and conquer. |

This is another really great build. I Love designing APC. It too deserves alot more attention. One of the draw backs of LDD. People just don't look at them as much as really builds it a shame. |
