This is my entry into the 2011 MOC Athalon.....category is:
#13. You know what they say:
Take a well known or popular saying and build a moc out of it. For example, "It's raining cats and dogs" would be a fun one to see a bunch of our furry friends falling from the sky. Be sure to tell us which saying you are doing... just in case we can't figure it out.
The phrase is "Kiss me, I'm Irish!". The team is the Inglorious ABSt&rds....and this my friends is my first entry of the year. Expect 29 more to follow! ;)
Well it's my favorite time of the year. St. Patty's day! Every year my wife and I cook up a full meal of corn beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, Irish soda bread, Bailey's chocolate chip cookies and more importantly.....BOOZE!!!
That's right my friends, lots and lots and LOTS of booze. Car bombs, Jameson, Guinnes, Killian's, Bailey's.....you name it, we drink it on the 17th.
The festivities are so raucous that I traditionally take the 18th off....not only for recovery, but because I am still drunk the following morning. Ahhhhhhh God bless the Irish----whiskey.
And who wouldn't enjoy kissing a leprechaun? Especially with a full pot of gold sittin' there for all to see.
But more importantly, would the judges mind sparing me a few points much higher than a three? LMAO

Top o'the mornin' to ye! Begorah that's a fine looking creation there to be sure! Alright, everybody knows i'm English not Irish so i'll stop that now - although its amazing to me how many people discover some Irish blood on St. Paddy's day. Something to do with Guiness. Lovely colourful creation mate, brill posing too. Good luck in the contest and keep up the colour commentary - it's priceless. |

Awesome! Those figs are fantastic! Especially love the girl with her foot up in the air. 4 points. (woulda been a 5 if you had some kind of built base just to help finish it off, perhaps in the shape of a four leaf clover or something) |

LMAO yeah I decided to have fun with the MOC A's this year. I figure every player should toss in their own "judging"....in the end it helps us all become better builders. Thanks for the kudos brother.
