About this creation

A pirates life. Team: Just another mocathalon team. Mocathalon home page.

Captain Archibald Burleigh (Black Burleigh), began as an admiral of the royal navy. He became discontented, always having to answer to someone higher and always keeping only a portion of his spoils. He soon deserted and turned to piracy, as a pirate he was king of his ship, and kept almost all the plunder. He sailed around the world, always on the run from ships of his own country. Though he visited many continents and robbed hundreds of ships, he spurned the idea of keeping artifacts in his cabin. Rather, he stocked it with chests full of the gold he sold his soul to gain.

The legs were not noticeable at first, and it wasn't until I noticed a comment about them that I picked up on what was happening there. Excellent build though, I really dig the rug!

I was going to go with a strong 2 but then noticed the leg technique you went with and it bumped it up for me. 3 points. ~ Chris.

Great compact moc with a nice amount of detail, especially in the little rug and the barrels for table legs. It looks nice and ship-like and I give this a solid 3.
