Boeing 247
This is a Boeing 247, the world's first commercial airliner. The first plane was built in 1933, 75 were made only 4 remain in existence today. The Boeing Museum of Flight has the only air worthy 247 left in the world. This is built to minifig scale, 73 studs wide by 54 studs long, the original plane is 74' wide by 52' long. The landing gear retracts and the interior has ten seats with an aisle in the middle just like the real plane. It looks like it sits high but if you look at pictures of the real plane you'll see this is the way it's supposed to be. I'm very happy with the overall build, the wings are my favorite part, the nose is my least favorite part, i rebuilt the nose at least six times before deciding on what you see here.

Really awesome shaping, a very convincing and elegant build. I like it a lot. (Furthermore, it's a civilian plane, which is quite nice.)

Quoting Steve The Squid Hey Dustin, I thought you said you didn't have a MOCpages account! It's beautiful! I love how well the landing gear works! Very impressive! ~framage(grayson)
Hey, I decided to set one up after you asked if I had one. The lighthouse project got scrapped, I'm still aiming to do a project with those pieces for water, I just don't know what it'll be now.

It looks great, even if it's wet! I like the wings, they look especially good. The tail-fin seems a bit large to me, but I've never seen the original so I could be wrong.

Excellent. The shape of the wings are great. I like the way you have attached the rear wings - trying to figure out how you did it?! I love the rear and aerial photos
