M90/80 Universal Combat Vehicle
The Western Confederation realized it had to upgrade its assault capabilities, so the M90 MBT 'Yankee' program was initiated. In addition to main battle tanks, the M80 'Air Cleaner' was conceived as an attempt to fill the gap in its static and mobile defenses.
About this creation

The 'Yankee' is a purpose-built land raider. Capable of overwhelming any vehicle type yet conceived.

Specifications:
M90:
Armament: 1x 135mm 3-round burst smooth-bore
2x 0.50 cal machine guns
1x 4 barrel 40mm automatic 'Metal Storm' grenade launcher
M80:
Armament:
Twin 30mm cannon firing 800 rpm each. 1,600 rpm total.

Its 40mm grenade launcher can fire over 4,000 rounds per minute, carrying 25 of these projectiles per barrel. Three firing modes are available; single round, 1 round from each barrel, and 'field of fire' where slight articulation allows the unit to lay out all 100 grenades in a set pattern to tear ambushes or groups of enemies to shreds.

Deeply sloped armor gives it a huge deflection advantage, especially in the front where it nearly comes to a point.

With 'Iron Fist' units, it can block incoming projectiles without even breaking stride, making it nearly invincible, and even protect vehicles in its immediate vicinity. But with its comprehensive armor, it can be just as fearsome without the IF.

Equipped with a bevvy of sensors including thermal, infrared, and of course radar, the 'Air Cleaner' can fire with amazing accuracy.

With 0 degree elevation, the AC can be used to clear out entire fields of infantry and soft-skinned vehicles in moments with its 2,400 rounds. These rounds are carried in the 'jowls' of the turret in tightly rolled bundles.

Well, this is the most recent of my attempts at modern armor since the M89 , what do you think?

Quoting Commander Elpa of Alparina ( Previously Elpa 14) Well, nice tank but this "Metal storm" thing sounds kinda superior. are you sure its allowed in Conflict?
I shouldn't think so, it's devastating, but conventional. Other nations are more than able to develop their own.

Hey Ultra, Sorry Im getting back to you so late, but I don't think It would be in your best interests for me to be in the 23rd century group. I don't have much time, so I wouldn't be much help anyways. Thanks for the invite! And on the MOC solid build. You have got some real skill in tanks. Great job.

Epic tank! I've heard of those metal storm guns. I wanted to make an aircraft a downward facing pod thing of 16 metal storm barrels with 40mm rounds. Sweet guns. Electronically primed projectiles need to be used more often in D&L.

Quoting Nathaniel Crumlich wow...WOW. That is awesome. Almost beyond awesome. I love the weapons, and from the looks of the specs on them, this is quite a beast of a machine. Friggin Sweet!
Well, thank you sir!
Quoting Awesome-o-saurus The Not-So-Great Nice work, too bad you lack more tiles for a smoother look.
If you're talking about the turret, they would have interfered with the slope. I've got oodles of tiles. I know it looks 'off' but it's the best I could do.

If you think I'm scared...You're right. I love how you accomplished the texture of it, and the different turret options are a nice touch. However, I still stand by my belief that no amount of armor can stop 6,000RPMs of 30mm incendiary slugs molded out of depleted uranium being spewed from an A-10. In any case though, this is certainly a force multiplier!

Pretty interesting design there, although the tank itself seems a bit high.

It's ability to overwhelm "anything" is doubtful at best, but that's not to say it isn't a threat. Nice work, too bad you lack more tiles for a smoother look.

Nice, very well-designed. It definitely looks like it means business. It looks kinda like a Leman Russ with wider tracks.

This is great! I love how you included all those new technologies in your description, and the tank looks good enough that it would be an awesome build even without the stellar commentary. :)
