(If you didn't see the original, this is a little history update...)
Alpha is the result of a bet between Matoran scientists to see if they could outdo Mata Nui himself. The result was a completely machine-and-energy based being, who the Matoran then ran several tests upon. Alpha did not like the painful experiments, so he infected the room with his bio-energy and 'deleted' his creators. He then modified a robot body for himself, and began wandering the galaxy for a purpose to life.

(Now to current events....)
During these wanderings, some of which were at cross-dimensional levels, and not too long after acquiring his first two emotions, Sarcasm and a sense of humor, Alpha saw the need for a more durable and powerful new body. Upon reaching the local scrapyard, he freed himself from his old robot body and created from the useable parts a new form, which was by far larger and stronger. He then made the necessary adjustments and continued on his journeys.

I really like the unique use of the connector pieces to make a sword. and I like the way that solonus is not symmetrical and yet you pulled it off and flows easily. As a little observation when I took a quick glance at Alpha's head it looks like a kanohi akaku, kopaka mata's mask. Overall you pulled these mocs of perfectly.

I love the shield and the blue mask works reeally well. the leg design is cool and your right- he is supposed to be one of those "a little bit on the skinny side" toas because he is master of the dark side...
