The Police HQ is a 3 story "Cafe Corner" style modular building constructed on two 32x32 plates. It is designed to go on the corner of a lego city block.
About this creation

This is my first attempt at an original design "Cafe Corner" style building. I tried to include a variety of details that you might find in a police station such as an interrogation room, jail cells, visiting area, armory, garage, evidence room, chief of police office, an area for R&R, and some other details. Please tell me what you think. I look forward to your comments.

The following four images are detail views of the facade and windows. The center arch in the roof overhang will eventually feature a mosiac year built like what is in TLG's "Fire Brigade."

A view of the back which will have an alley running parallel to it in the future.

The next six images are of the first floor of the station. They contain the armory, entrance, and garage. On this floor as well as the others I only tiled the hallways and left the rooms with studs so that the functionability of messing around with minifigs could be maximized.

The next five images are of the second floor. The second floor contains the evidence room, interrogation room, criminal suspect lineup and mugshot room, and 2 jailcells with a visitation center.

The final five images are of the third floor. The third floor consists of workspace for investigators, the chiefs office, and an area for R&R.

Hello there,
Your police headquarters is amazing. Do you have the instructions for that? I'd be really interested to add it to my collection.

This MOC fits perfectly with the Cafe Corner sets! I think the tiles on the corners really pulled it off.
Oh and cool Ping Pong table. :) |

How do you get the arch shape above the police van?
I used 2 Brick Arch 1x5x4 from one of the old pirate series sets from the late 80's (the half arch type so it takes 2 to make 1 full arch). I took 1x2 light bley plates and put a cheese piece at the end of each and stuck them up onto the bottom of the arch pieces which are hollow spaced so they grip the 1x2 plates. |

It's really awesome!!
Love your way of detailling the interior.
Would be fitting very nic in my own town-plan ;-)
Thanks for the complements, I have a couple new buildings built/in the works, just working on the interior. I will be posting them within the next few months hopefully once I get the missing pieces I need. They are a super Grand Emporium (5 sets combined with all new interior and modified exterior) and a Super Fire House (2 Fire house sets combined for a more realistic 2 engine fire house). Both have been modified while keeping with the original style of the modular sets released by LegoGroup. I also have a Cinema in the planning stages, a Corner Bakery with upstairs Law Offices, a Barber Shop, and a Car Repair Shop in the works. |
