I think i come back to that beauty the 50th times or something like that... And notice that i didn't comment. This is really one of th... -no sorry!!!- it is the best spaceship on MOCpages in aspects to curves (+there connection) and sculpting to one beauty... You are the KING of curves and did i say you are really inspiring ? ;-) ? Keep this curves up !!! |

Salut Christophe, j'accepte bien volontier de faire partie de The Froggies' Community, mais comment je dois faire pour intégrer le groupe?
|

But just one thing: I'm a big Star Trek fan and I have watched every episode (there are 700) at least 5 times. And I have never seen in the show a ship that remotly looks like this... so I wonder where does your inspiration comes fom ?
At the beginning it was from the "surak MK II" from John Walker but I don't like making something allready existing so I started from the rings and the imagination did the rest... |

I'm really impressed. The design is really impressive and this creation will set new standards. But just one thing: I'm a big Star Trek fan and I have watched every episode (there are 700) at least 5 times. And I have never seen in the show a ship that remotly looks like this... so I wonder where does your inspiration comes fom ? |

WOW, this is a beautiful looking ship. The WIP pics alredy showed that it was going to be awesome, but seeing it in its full glory is simply mindblowing! I just can´t get tired of looking at these brilliant organic curves. Not to forget that it is perfectly presented. Nice broadside fireing effects and explosions! Très bien, mon ami! Mais, regarde qu´elle ne tombe jamais sûr la terre...! Oh my rusty, rusty french ;-) ~Cheers, Marc |

This ship is actually beautiful - I'm listening to Phillip Glass at the moment, so forgive me if I wax loquacious.
I may rest on that vein - Glass' work is often claimed as minimalist, but it is not. Glass used elegant patterns to form flowing, evocative shapes, no so dissimilar to what you have achieved here.
I congratulate you again, marvelous.

Great work on those special effects pics, but my favorite shot is that close up from underneath. Really shows how the circles flow around each other. I'd like to see a few more pics added, from the bow and stern especially. Awesome artistic and engineering creation here, Dude. Congrats!
Thanks so much dude for your support !! I prepare more pictures for soon... |

I see we have a new Lord of the Rings! -And no worries about stressing. For a thing this big (I am very suprised about the size of this) there is probably no stressing involved, just clever usage of the small tolerances of the molded bricks... Great job! |

Excellent Christophe. It has an organic skeletal feel to it and you've used lego in ways I didn't think possible. I was sure the first time I saw the rings you were not using lego, or it was some tricky with pieces I had never seen before!

OK, now I grasped it's unbelivability. A bit. You see, because the language lacks the words to describe awesomeness I will use my incredible inteligence to surpass language as you did LEGO. Comparisance. This is so good, it doesn't look LEGO. To me it looks like the real thing. As if you weren't spending your time on the MOC, rather than a shrinking ray. Secondly, if there was no "Three story victorian with tree" you'd make the MOC of the year. Sorry, this is not the BEST MOC I've seen, rather than the third best. |
