City of Luxembourg Fire Department SAMU Ambulance
Hi everybody. Heres an Ambulance of the Fire Department of the City of Luxembourg, itīs a SAMU Ambulance, based on a Mercedes 814 D-KA. SAMU is a french abreviation and it stands for Service dīAide Médicale Urgente, in english= Emergency Medical Service. But SAMU in Luxembourg is a department which is dedicated to emergency physicians, in this organisations you got of course the Luxembourg city F.D., you also got the civil protection and the Luxembourg air rescue. This particular Ambulance is fully ALS equiped and itīs operated by 2 firefighters/paramedic and an emergency physician (thatīs the reason why it has the SAMU inscription on it) unlike the USA or the UK, Luxembourg paramedics donīt provide ALS on their own there has to be an emergency physician on scene to give propper medical support to the patient, Luxembourg paramedic got the skills the training and the know how to do it on their own but it is forbidden by the law.

Quoting Andy Larkum Great work Antonio. This really does look like the real thing. This has great functionality without sacrificing looks. Your sliding door technique is very good. I also like the wing mirrors using axes, a very novel idea. Kindest regards, Andy
Thank you. Well I was planning for weeks to do this moc as realistic as I could do it in 6 wide. Yes the wing mirrors are really a novel idea and I tried to use several techniques but this one was the best. Regards. Antonio
