BSG: The Journey Home Part 3
Orbiting Kobol with the Rebel Cylon Baseship, the Galactica prepares to send a Raptor to inspect the surface. CMDR L. Barto, call sign Maverick, will command the Marines aboard the Raptor. Their mission is to verify security in and around the City of the Gods, former home of the Lords of Kobol and the Thirteen Tribes.
About this creation

"Galactica, Raptor 269, Requesting clearance for take off..."

"I'm not expecting a lot of traffic today...Over."

"Copy that Maverick. You are cleared for launch."

"Alright, disengaging Mag-lock..."

"All systems go, Sir. We're all nice and snug back here."

Okay, Lieutenant, let's take 'er out."

"Galactica, Raptor 269, we've cleared the Flight Pod, and are heading to the surface. Next stop, City of the Gods!"
"Roger that, Godspeed Maverick."

"Entering atmosphere..."

"Dradis shows the ruins, Sir. But it looks like it might be a bumpy ride on the way down..."

"Okay, team, I hope you've got your seat belts on!"

Quoting J H Great lighting as others have said. I'd love to see the set up for the MOC when taking pictures. What software are you using to put the pictures together?
Thanks for the comment! I use Gimp, it's free online. The set up is quite simple. My kitchen counter! But, really, it's a bluish gray, and I have window shades that are like light diffusers. Canon Power Shot camera, nothing too fancy. There's a photoediting group, check it out: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/13655

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 every pic is eye candy el barto, the scenes, are very convincing, the story, well structured, and also convincing, i don t tire from seeing your command stage either, it s not getting old, the quality of the builds pays a lot over time! as to the scale matter, of course we d like everything fig scale!...but, you d have to have a mansion to keep this universe built, i prefer to see what you ve done, than nothing, i think you were pretty good at it from the start, but, you keep on refining this technique, and it shows, as each time, it s a little better than the last! it s really worth watching! great show el barto!
Thanks again for the thoughtful comment! I was quite pleased with how those Raptor/Launch Pad shots came out, no color or contrast changes required. Without Gimp, though, there would be no show--Cheers!

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy The main pic/last pic is awesome and your overall design work brilliant. Suspense is still rising. But I'm not sure if I really like the combination of 2 different LEGOŽ scales in 1 picture. I found it a bit irritating. Building a huge hangar is a matter of bricks, money and time - I know. A microscale version could be a solution. But hey, this is just my opinion and I'm always looking forward to new BSG episodes from you.
Thanks for the critique, I understand where you're coming from. I have a micro raptor, but I prefer to do this. I see it like the Ragnar Station, or the Baseship over the Armistice Station--Close enough, right? Nest episode...We need some snow to melt first!
