I am new to making mocs, so I thought I would start easy. This is what I imagine the 2.0 version of Bulk to look like.
About this creation
I always liked the look of Bulk, but I don't like the 1.0 heroes from Hero Factory. The 2.0 heroes are much more poseable and better looking, so I thought I'd make a 2.0 version of Bulk (and Stringer, coming soon).
Generally, I think this moc turned out pretty well. Because of the color scheme, I had to use the 1.0 feet, which don't look very good. The 1.0 helmet, on the other hand, is pretty cool.
I liked what they added to Bulk in the Bulk vs. Vapor set, so I added the hose and the jet pack. Generally, I don't like the emptiness on the back of the 2.0 heroes, so the jetpack solves that issue nicely.
The weapon was the right color and is sort of an upgrade to the weapon Bulk 1.0 had. As I get more proficient with mocs, I'll probably come back to this and make my own weapon, but this Bionicle blaster suffices.
There are probably a few more things I'd like to add to this moc, and I plan to keep updating this. The upcoming design by me hero factory hopefully will get me the 2.0 feet in the color I want, and possibly an orange hero core. I'm also going to try to come up with some sort of scope for the weapon.

Pretty cool. Definately a good place to start when it comes to Bio-Mocs. HF is a step down from Bionicle, though. Plus, a lot of people here hate HF for replaxing Bio. Keep building, though! you have my encouragement! |
