Wow--You're really good at fitting in all these working features on your handguns; it's pretty neat how they all include working slides. The model's handle looks very smooth and comfortable to hold; have you found a way to put a trigger on the weapon? (I know I sure haven't figured out to do this on my '1911 yet...). |

Wow vary nice job on that m1911. I built one of these as well a cople years back, mine's no were near as good. I like the working mecanisms, but I'm suprized to say my vavorate part is the wood panaling on the handle, I don't know, guess I just have a soft spot for wood panaling. |

This is a Great m1911 John browning's finest work. The details are all good and regarding "firing", That doesn't define what makes a good creation, its detail what matters firing is just a good extra |

Jan, I must agree. You make the most faithful pistols out there, but they all lack the same thing; ability to fire. Don't get me wrong, this is still a 5/5, but you could do so much better. Try working with Jack Streat's compact RB mechanism. I am SURE you could make something beautiful with that. |

The slide actually works with a spring, but, I took it out so the slide would stay back when I took the picture. And I will never make a shooting LEGO weapon. I'm more a detail guy. -Jan
Well, it certainly has a lot of well-built details. It's just that to me the shooting-at-stuff bit always seemed the most important detail of all. I'd encourage you to at least give it a try some time. You might find it a fun challenge. |

Groetjes, -Jan

It looks very nice, but... it doesn't shoot anything, and thus fails to replicate the most significant aspect of any gun. You've got a working slide... any chance you could modify it to pull a rubber band or spring? The slide actually works with a spring, but, I took it out so the slide would stay back when I took the picture. And I will never make a shooting LEGO weapon. I'm more a detail guy. -Jan
