Star Wars Small Service and Utility Vehicles
Star Wars Small Service and Utility Vehicles dedicated to maintenance, fixing, filling, etc...
About this creation
It's my first publication on MOCpages so I'm a little shy... Even though I'm a big AFOL.
I plan to build my own "Hoth Base". One day. ^^
So I had to start with something and I thought utility gliders had a part to play.
Some are MOCs some are clearly not (tribute to Lego designers!!).
It took me 5 years to make those little bugs... Yes, what an efficient guy! But it was before I knew MOCpages. :)
Please rate and comment. I hope you'll have fun.

On the main photo, front left. The crane comes from the "Hoth Rebel Base" set (2007). The pic would not load... sorry. I just made few up-grades to make it look coherent with others vehicles.

This tracted ladder is obviously not my moc (no kidding!). In fact this one gave me the "tone" to the following buildings: shape, colors, etc... It comes from the "A-Wing" Mk II set(2006). Very few up-grades. He looks so cool.
I discovered how tough it was to get homogeneous MOC. They are so small, every detail can change the whole look.

The articulated arm comes from the "B-Wing" Mk I set (2000). I modified it 20 times before being satisfied of the result.
It's strange how you can have hard times with 2 or 3 bricks... (I fear thinking about big space MOCs achieved by master builders).
The trailer IS a moc (at last...) and it's not a tank.
It's a robot (don't laugh!). His only purpose is to check electronic programs and softwares, detect failures, breakdown and fix them on any kind of rebel ship. Even the Millenium falcon! Hyperdrive, weaponry, thrusters, navigation, etc. All are managed by softwares. Engineer connect the A.I. to the ship and let her work while he can rest (err... do something else!)
Talking about big brain... That's a big trailer! :)

This little glider tows a atmospheric fuel tank for ship such as Snow-speeders; The "tugglider" is cute.
I like the yellow color on those MOCs and how it gives a real utility look, balanced with black and dark bluish gray.
I hope Crimso Giger will like it... ;)

My first SW MOC. A specific fuel tank speeder dedicated to space -explosive ++ -gas. It has to be nice and easy during transport. So the shape and the propeller.
I love this vehicle.

And the last one... But!? Where is it???!...

Here it comes! Such a little joker! He likes to play hide and see... ;)

In the Hoth Base set was this "block" to put the Snow-Speeder at rest. I found it funny to bring it on a buggy-truck to ease transport without flying.
I like the result.

The Millenium Falcon is not mine -unhappyly, I couldn't afford it- but I love this pic. A nice background for this little MOC.
A nice dream too...

I have another trailer to build: It will be dedicated to weapons and missiles. But I'm stuck.

So to be continued...
That's all folks! Thanks for looking!

I think that's really good because you make you so many thoughts about the maintenance. Too bad that some photos do not appear.

Quoting Nick Barrett This is a super group of little vehicles with a very skilfully applied coherent theme to them. Now go get yourself a Millenium Falcon.. you deserve it! Sell a kidney if you have to...
LOL! And What if you make an extra Lego kidney fully efficient for me?... Anyway, thanks for the nice comment, I do appreciate specially coming from skilled builder like you.

Quoting Yann castle Very nice for those first MOCs!! I'm not particulary fan of Star Wars theme but this "yellow" team could easily take a place in the SW universe! For delay, don't worry...Kobayashi sensai didn't create airsoft in one day!
Thanks for the support, Yann! That's really nice from you. Waiting for your own MOCs, pal...
