AH-12 Cloud Hopper
Light attack helicopter that is a very condensed version of the Cobra.
About this creation

Having an operational altitude of only 9,000' leads some pilots to wonder just what clouds the designers were thinking it was going to 'hop.' This, along to its diminutive size, led to the more common nickname of 'Skippy.'

Specifications:
Range: 450 miles
Armament: two hardpoints for 1,000kg of mixed munitions, twin .50cal mount
Ceiling: 9,000'
Max speed: 189 mph
Engine: 900 hp
Crew: 1 (Are you still reading these?)

Regarding the last one there, the cockpit is rather snug, but protected by titanium armor.

Tough for its size, a unit in the army was given the unique opportunity to shoot up a prototype on a field with everything from .30 cal to a couple RPGs. The cockpit was struck by the majority of the bullets, and though dented, was not ever completely perforated. Of course, any of the rounds could have brought it down, but at least the pilot has a good chance to walk away.

Relying on agility to defend itself makes the small size all the more important.

Capable of darting in and out and making maximum effect of terrain features makes this copter ideal for ambushes where on radar it would be indistinguishable from the ground. Loitering the combat area, the Skippy can be used to site for LGBs as well, as shown below.

Here is its most usual manifest. The unguided rockets are of the "Holy Moses" variety from WWII, so nothing so spectacular. The bigger outlying ones are for tanks.

Bonus wall scribbles:

I was unsatisfied with the landing gear design of the new 7307 Flying Mummy Attack which was only good for flying (not so much for taking off), so I took the liberty of modding it. So now it can actually take off with sufficient prop clearance. Here's the aesthetics of the new design. Try it if you like it!

This is definitely one of your superior designs. The detail in the weapons, engine and overall body look completely believable. I would love to see this baby blowing away a helpless target in a diorama or two!

Ahh! Noo! Someone beat me to the DBZ/Kai reference! Anyway, at least I have one ace up my sleeve and it's this comment. Didn't I remember seeing something like this during the 1980s and 1990s versions of the G.I. Joe comics and cartoons? If I do recall correctly, the G.I. Joes had a similar vehicle in their arsenal, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Quoting Danny Morgan oh hurray :P
Well, I wouldn't exactly put these up against yours. The AH-10 Bullmoose would be more suited to that role.

Quoting Danny Morgan Pretty neat little chopper there. I like it's compactness. Unfortunately this'll get slaughtered going up against the Valkyrie :P Ive made a minifig scale version which should be posted sometime this week.
I shall strike when you are not looking, I will destroy you when you least expect it, I will overwhelm you with numbers, I am your doom. -Ultra

Nice little chopper you got there. I also got that set, but found the design overall was pretty disappointed with the overall design.

Sweet choppa Ultra! I got that same mummies set, and I've been looking for various ways to make the plane better, it's a cool set though, a lot of good colors and pieces. ~T
