For those who don't know, this is based on a version of Darth maul that appeared in the Star wars Visionaries graphic novel. In it, Maul "comes back from the dead" with a cyborg lower-half and seaks revenge against Obi-Wan. I've been wanting to build a lego version of this character for a while, and finally got to it. As always, I focused on every detail, trying to make this as accurate as possible. I fudged a couple details, but this is a s good as I could get it in lego for now. This looks very nice, as usual.
The tattoos look great, but my favorite parts in there have to be the cyborg legs. Those are done very nicely! My only complaint would be that the head is a slight bit too blocky. But it's hard to make heads at that scale, so unless you find a better solution, you may want to keep it that way. |

A very menacing creation. I am not familiar with the extend storyline from Visionaries but he looks sweet and the tattoos came out nicely on the abdomen. |
