There really is a serious lack of spider-man mocs. I'd build some if I had the figs (may cracklink them). Anyway, too the moc!
This makes up for the lack of spidey mocs! The streets are excellently detailed and full of action! Doc-ock's arms are much better than Lego's official fig! Well done! |

Nice scene. Love the live action. What's an AFOL brick? Excuse my ignorance.
Simple answer. Last year I won the AFOL of the year award in the annual MOCie awards. The previous year's winner, Shannon Young, passed the torch by building me a trophy. In the package was an extra 1x8 brick that said "2010 AFOL of the year." Shannon suggested that I try to use the brick in all of my builds. I've been able to use it a lot but not all of them. This was one build that it didn't make it in. |

Hans, thanks for the link. To be honest, I don't buy bricks off the Internet. Everything I have comes from a set I bought off the shelf (at either a discount store or on sale if possible). Maybe someday that will change. As a side note I took your suggestions (except the background one-need to get some black material, and retook those pictures of my last mech). If you get the chance, let me know if these are better and where I still need improvement. Thanks again. |

Most excellent storytelling. The buildings look great (yeah, cars suck. That's why I build rat rods and call it good enough) and the overall action in the scene has this old Spidey fan pining for the days of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko (look 'em up kids). Your choice of camera angles and placement tells me you're starting to think more cinematically in your photography, which makes things more interesting than a bunch of photos taken from the same basic angle. I digress ... I really like this one, and it features one of my all-time favorite villians, too! |
