This is the second version of my Citigroup (formerly Citicorp) Center. The new version features street level details and trans light blue elements for the windows rather than simple solid blue plates.
The model used more than 1500 rare trans light blue 1x1 plates for the windows. Note there are no studs visible through these plates. They are held in place from above by 2x2 and 2x1 tiles.
Note the smooth underside of the tower, with tile grilles representing the plaza lighting. Also note the beveled corners of the central support.
The top of the tower. The two small openings on the lower left represent sliding panels that allow the window washing equipment access to the facade.
The small brown building shares the block but is not part of the center.
The sunken plaza and small church on the corner
The steep sloped roof. The designers orginally thought of putting solar panels on it.
fantastic to the last, each creation shows how you can adapt lego to build a perfect facesmile. well done sir, please do other landmarks in this format, they are fantastic ;)
