A Diorama of several American Recon Soldiers scouting out a German Bunker along the Siegfried Line...
About this creation
The Siegfried Line was a defence system stretching more than 630 km (390 mi) with more than 18,000 bunkers, tunnels and tank traps. The bunkers spanned almost the entire western German boarder and were directly opposite the Maignot Line in France. The line was created mostly for propoganda reasons and broke the Treaty of Versailles and the Locarno Treaties by remilitarizing the Rhineland.
However, after the D-Day landings the line was put into use and several battles including The Battle of the Bulge were fought along it. The last resistance ended in 1945 with the last bunkers have fallen.
Da**it!!! I was so going to make one and claim it as the first! (To bad Im lazy =P) Looks like the honor goes to you. It looks pretty nice, I like the terrain, but more pics that show what the bunker looks like would help. It looks pretty nice though. =)
