The Sigma is a prototype AEGAKS designed and manufactured by Exocorp. It is also known as a PMDEM(Primary Military Defense Exo Mecha).
About this creation
Machine Data
Primary ID:Vbl-2-101
ID: Sigma
Weight:3.9 tons
Height:30 feet(standard),25 feet(gerwalk)
Power source: integrated power cell
Equipment: Ejectable pilot block, Gyroscopic balance system, Neural interface, Flight port
Armament: Gatling gun, Plasma cannon, Weapon port
Mode(s):Standard,Gerwalk
Armor Integrity: Low
Optional: Flight port, “Ares” sniper rifle
The above information came directly from Exocorp mainframe.

The Sigma has few armor plating, as this was considered to contribute to overall weight. It does, however, sport armor on the left arm, to protect the manipulator.

The Sigma lacks jump-jets, as this was considered to be unnecessary. This contributes to its relative light weight .It uses a integrated power cell(Note the light gray compartment below the head).

The left arm is a manipulator. Built into the arm is the Sigma's most notable feature-a weapon port. Normally concealed in the arm for protection, it can easily be deployed for use.

The port shown open. It is concealed by the casing(It should be just visible).

Though not designed for the Sigma, the Ares long-range sniper rifle is shown attached to the port for display. This Ares unit was modified, by separating the silencer.

A modified Ares.

A standard Ares.

The right arm, in contrast to the left, is a mounted plasma cannon. This unique combination gives the Sigma both defensive and offensive capabilities. Just under the primary cannon, a Gatling gun is attached. It should be visible by the black casing it is covered in. This casing protects against the large volumes of thermal energy produced by the plasma cannon.

The Sigma's frame is similar in concept to Little Blue, so as a direct result, most PMDEM are dwarfed by standard AEGAKS(Arkham,Solice,Fawkes, etc).Unlike AEGAKS ,the head does not eject, nor does the power cell. This is designed to make salvage easier. This makes the frame susceptible to overloads.

The head of the Sigma is large in proportion to the rest of the body. This is because the advanced camera used for the Sigma is larger than standard cameras used in other mecha(note the orange optics).

The camera, stripped of most of it's armor. It’s big enough(3/4 the size of a pilot)to require stronger hydraulics for a AEGAKS its size.

The cockpit, seen here, is lightly armored and fitted with small gliding surfaces. This allows it to cover more distance from the(explosive)frame. Additionally, it has a built-in transmitter.

The Sigma, like all PMDEM, can transform into a more maneuverable form. The gerwalk mode(as the engineers call it)is designed to give the pilot more options of combat in the event the head is destroyed. It is advised to the pilot to combat while in this form, though it is not designed as such.

The Sigma can be compacted for easy storage. Note that the cockpit is positioned to allow easy access.
COMMENT!!!
Credit to Jason Dominguez for the AEGAKS universe.
Note: Sorry for the extremely bad quality. I have a LOT of difficulty using a camera.(or the Kodak is out to get me)My next 4 creation will be just as horrible, due to early planning. I appreciate suggestions.

Not too bad, but it could use some more work. The folding ability is a nice touch. I think you need to add more color, use less Technic, and add some armor. The concept is really good, but the build isn't perfect yet. |
