ISLAND LOCKED
Day 27- It had been over two weeks since Eeman was dragged, pitilessly off into the jungle. Things were going surprisingly well.
They had found fishing nets, and had learned a good deal about fishing, but that wasn’t the main accomplishment so far.
They had made bows and arrows to hunt with, but that wasn’t the main accomplishment either.
The main accomplishment was the jail, made of scraps of Caleb’s sunken ship, and other things all about the island.
They also had stairs going up to the top of homerock.
The stairs led to the newest project, “the beacon”. It was meant as a signal fire, to find any sort of help.
They also had a garden, consisting of a few trees they had uprooted from the jungle, and also a few mysterious, but edible, turnip type plants.
Day 29-The jail was done, and it was time to put it to use.
Everyone helped load the home-made weapons, they gathered food, and other random valuables into the jail.
There were several guards posted, incase of an attack.
Three by the river.
Mostly meant to guard the garden,
And three facing the jungle.
Day 31-A month after being on the accursed Island, and the remaining people were ready to light the beacon. Several guards where posted throughout the camp.
David J, prepared to light the beacon.
Suddenly, there was a “THUMP”, the sound of a club hitting a skull, and Caleb turned to see ? being dragged off by a man in a strange suit.
Several men charged into the camp, overwhelming Nathan, the remaining river guard.
Nathan went down with a knife in his gut.
Caleb and Charlie let loose several arrows, but only one met its target.
Nathan was dragged, unconscious, into the river.
Christian Bermer stood strong, with his club, waiting for the speedy figure in black to attack him.
Christian was brave, but no fighter, and went down all too soon.
But just before the man could stab him, Conner pulled up his shotgun, and fired his last shot at the man, killing him instantly.
The remaining few scattered at the sound of a gunshot.
All but the one with an arrow in him.
The one with an arrow began to drag himself toward the water, hoping to drown himself before they got any information out of him.
But Caleb and Charlie pulled him out just in time.
“WHO ARE YOU!?” Caleb shouted in anger.
When the man didn’t reply, Caleb punched him hard in the face.
He dragged him up and shoved him against the tree, “WHO ARE YOOOOOU!?” He shouted, enraged.
But what Caleb didn’t see, was the small knife the man had.
The man pulled it out, and stabbed himself in the gut before Caleb could do anything.
Caleb walked away in disgust.
That night, everyone sat thoughtfully at the camp.
“They where wearing radio-active suits,” Dillpickle said, breaking the silence, “Why?” he thought out loud.
“I’m not sure,” Caleb said after a moment of thought, then added, “but they know where we are, this is the second attack at this camp. I know we just built a jail, but we need to move.”
Everyone was silent.
“As far as I can see we can do one of a few things, we can
(A)Follow the stream inland, until we find a cave, and camp there
(B)Sit tight and hope nothing happens
Or (C) Try to follow the river downstream, where the people in radio active suits came from.”
