Nice. A very well-done ship. This is a galleon, right? That makes sense. A twelve-gun galleon. Very good job here. I have a deep respect for excellent warships of wood. |

Really stunning work! Absolutely beautiful! I wouldn't even know where to begin to make a ship. I particularly like the colourscheme on this one, it looks very important and royal. Would look quite imposing on the ocean seeing it coming towards you. |

Well done. Love the color scheme it adds that regal flair to it and makes it look like an imperial flagship. |

awesome! BTW, I went to Toyworld and grabbed a bunch of collectable minifigs. I got 2 Sumo Wrestlers, a Racecar Driver, Pilot, and a Rapper.
My li'l bro got a Hula Girl, and it was pretty awkward cause he opened it right as I said that the Hula Girl, was the worst in the series :I Too bad I didn't get the Fisher Man, Space Villan, or the coveted Elf!
I'm gonna make a Maori warrior out of the Sumo's top-knot and the Hula's grass skirt, I just need a brown skinned minifig...
Haha sounds good man, glad you found the figs. Yes I am after a many few of the Elves, would be great for an upcoming MOC. Maori warrior sounds awesome too, do a tribal wars MOC ;) |

when i first looked at this i thought : imperial flagship in white:
but it looks good and you really tricked me with the cannons, i thought there wasent any, untill i saw them drewt out, you did a good job cover them deep deep down in the hull.
and then i agree with all the good things all the others said.
and the cannon section room look really good.
but that i dont like is the collers on the cabin.
to much white compared to the brown and darkbrown.
but i really like how you did made a way down to the lower deck.
and a last thing, i wouldnt have the guts to take my imperial flagship apart, no matter how much i could use the parts to make it better.
so a really good job 5/5 |

Very nice, those chains look great on it, I like how you made the curved stern and the staircase near the bow, nice use of arches over the gunports as well, Great job
The chains were a last minute addition, I really liked the look they gave it. Thanks man. |

Wonderful. Packed with details, masterful building, and great overall look. I can practically see Nelson pacing the deck, fingering his medals (well, if it had 300 more guns, that is).
Hmm yeah, I could do 21 guns for him. I could be wrong but I think the Lego Hull is well under scale for some of the larger old navy vessels. I'd like to see them come out with a 24 wide hull or a 32. |

I can see a few resemblances to the imperial flagship, but there are two few to bother me. Quite breath taking, and I enjoy the part usage which gives it a stunning appearance. Brilliant work!
There shouldn't be any resemblance to the Imperial Flagship apart from the length of the hull(I cant get away from that one its the same pieces). My only reference to the Lego instructions was to find the divide height for each cross-mast. Cheers for the comment :) |

You might want to mention Phipson for those curved white hull segments fore and aft, though... unless I'm greatly mistaken he's the creator of that particular brilliant technique.
Chris's work is not where I saw this technique, I'm not sure who the inventor of the technique is but I have seen some pretty early works which utilise it. I also used this technique for the curved wooden wall on the competition Family Home. I have plans to modify this technique a bit and show it off in a full scale demonstration of how usable it is :) Kudos to the inventor. |

Theres something about this ship that bothers me, I can't really put my finger on it. I might've used more colors instead of just white, gold and dark brown. And the Captain's Cabin is a little odd too. All in all though, a great ship. |
|
|
It looks seamless when it's all together, yet the modularity is there, and the ship is better for it. The sliding cannons are good touches, and I definitely agree that this has a nice model look to it, like it's a scaled-down version of a real ship. You might want to mention Phipson for those curved white hull segments fore and aft, though... unless I'm greatly mistaken he's the creator of that particular brilliant technique. |
